About This Role:

This position will provide professional counseling and psychological services to individual, couples, and groups, including assessments, consultations and crisis coverage.

Provide clinical supervision/training for doctoral psychology interns and/or other trainees as they provide psychological services, which may include leading seminars in areas as assigned. 

Engage in staff and team meetings by expressing ideas and collaborating within the teams as well as the office as a whole.

Provide consultation, outreach, and educational activities to faculty/staff, campus, and classes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent mental health field from an APA-accredited program.
  • Qualified for psychology licensure by the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Board. Licensure in Kansas to be obtained within a negotiated time frame.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of work related experience at a college or university counseling center.
  • Experience and/or interest in assessments, health psychology, eating disorder treatment, substance use, group therapy, etc.
  • Licensed as a psychologist.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Qualified for psychology licensure by the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Board; licensure to be obtained within a negotiated time frame.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$57,000.00 - $58,000.00 annually
