About This Role:

This position supports the Center for Student Success and Engagement in the College of Arts & Sciences. We are seeking an engaged, friendly, and detail-oriented individual, eager to join the College's newly renamed Center for Student Success and Engagement as we reposition our focus on engaged intervention and support of our students. As a member of the Student Services Team, you will welcome students to the College; support student-centered events and outreach; coordinate and respond to inquiries related to academic policy from advisors, faculty, and students; and support the college in the development of the mentoring program. Additionally, you will review program and curriculum in support of the College's Academic Coordinator/Degree Analyst.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Four years relevant experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two or more years experience in general office and administrative support work
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Customer-oriented and a service mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly-organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience working on a computer and demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Familiarity with information management systems and degree audit systems
  • Experience with CRM, KSIS, ImageNow/Perceptive Content
  • Experience with project management and/or mentoring and/or student success initiatives

Other Requirements:

  • Must be available to work Saturdays in June (usually there are two) for New Student Orientation & Enrollment and two Saturdays for Commencement in December and May.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$19.23 - $20.67 per hour
