About This Role:

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Kansas State University (http://www.ksu.edu/bmb) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, to begin in August 2023. We seek candidates with research interests and expertise in all areas of biochemistry, molecular biology, and molecular biophysics. Preference will be given to applicants with research interests that complement and enhance the existing programs, which include structural biology, biochemistry of infection and immune response, and biochemistry of insects and plants. Candidates using computational approaches are strongly encouraged to apply. The department seeks individuals who will develop and sustain a strong extramurally funded research program and excel in teaching a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have an established, extramurally funded research program.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
