About This Role:

This position provides critical administrative support in the Division of Biology at Kansas State University. The employee will serve as the Main Office receptionist and aid in administrative aspects of the Division’s graduate program, the scheduling of rooms/seminars, and reporting of building maintenance issues. The Division of Biology is the largest unit in the College of Arts & Sciences and employs approximately 350 faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduates.

The employee will serve as receptionist in the Biology Main Office and aid in multiple administrative aspects of daily operations and activities.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year relevant experience.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical education or higher. Two years secretarial or office specialist experience. Strong organizational skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CollegeNet.
