About This Role:

This position reports to and provides senior-level administrative support to the Vice President of Human Capital Services. The incumbent evaluates, directs, and organizes all matters referred to the office, provides oversight and support for all major executive functions and ensures compliance with all applicable procedures, policies, and regulations. The person in this position works independently and confidentially to handle complex, sensitive situations with the potential to have major impact on the university as a whole.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree (or work equivalent) and six to ten years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Seven years of experience supporting executive level administration.
  • Five years of experience in a higher education environment.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources best practices.
  • Use of the Microsoft Office suite to include MS Word, Excel, One Note and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform web site edits and develop communications.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working within a team environment and/or independently.
  • Strong English and grammar skills. 
  • Basic accounting skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$70,000-78,000/year
