About This Role:

Kansas State University is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to manage custodial services for the KSU Salina Campus. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Supervising and training custodial personnel to ensure they efficiently and successfully perform their job duties
• Performing custodial duties for assigned buildings
• Monitoring campus event schedules to ensure proper custodial and security coverage for events
• Conferring with supervisor and KSU representatives regarding problem areas and issues with personnel
• Purchasing supplies, maintaining inventory, and controlling usage of custodial supplies and equipment
• Preparing written reports on usage of supplies and maintenance of areas
• Participating in snow removal tasks as required

Standard hours are 5:30 am – 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• One to three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience highly preferred
• Custodial experience highly preferred

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
• Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$21.00 – 23.50 per hour, depending on qualifications
