About This Role:

This position provides essential support for the bulk farming operation that is charged with producing, processing and marketing foundation seed wheat, production of feedstuffs for the research feedlot, and testing on the commercial scale the best management practices develop by researchers on a small plot scale.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma. One year of experience in agricultural or animal sciences. Education in the biological sciences, agricultural sciences or animal sciences may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree preferred plus three years experience in large-scale farming operations. Vocational training in the safe and proper use of pesticides.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$16.11-$27.38/hour (33,501-$56,952)
