About This Role:
|
The Division of Financial Service is looking for a Grant Writer to assist the Vice President of Administration and Finance units in finding and analyzing opportunities for external funding, assisting with the application process associated with such opportunities, and coordinating required compliance and reporting activities. This position will need to review and interpret detailed sponsor proposal guidelines and regulations, interpret funders’ grant spend policies, procedures, and requirements. Provide guidance and support to the VPAF leadership units that receive grants. This position will coordinate grants accounting and financial reporting responsibilities with the administrative support center to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the award.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
|
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred in, communications, or business-related field)
- Three years of relevant experience working with seeking and managing contracts and/or grants.
- Talent for translating complex topics into clear, concise, and compelling content
- Internet Research background
- Previous experience with Grant Writing and/or Persuasive Communications
- Build and steward relationships with key leaders within the grantor organizations
- Identify specific project opportunities that align with funding priorities
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred in, communications, or business-related field)
Other Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
