About This Role:

The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine is offering a residency in veterinary anatomic pathology.  One position is available starting between June 1 and August 1, 2024.  We are seeking highly motivated, hard-working, and dependable individuals with a DVM or equivalent degree, a great sense of humor and a keen interest in being a life-long learner, in addition to strong interest and motivation to pursue a career in anatomic veterinary pathology. This is a full-time position with the possibility of annual renewal for up to 3 years based on performance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The D.V.M. or equivalent degree is required.
  • International students must demonstrate proficiency in English by earning a satisfactory score on the TOEFL or demonstrate proficiency during an interview.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A year of post-DVM clinical or diagnostic experience is desirable, but not required.
  • Applicants who also intend to enter graduate studies and pursue an academic career may be given preference.
  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) and heavier as needed.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

$42,987 annually
