The Agriculture Technician II is part of the Housing and Dining Services' grounds team who provide a safe, well maintained, aesthetically pleasing grounds for students, staff, faculty, and visitors to campus. Regular work hours are 8 am-5 pm OR 7:30 am-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Instructor (Kinesiology) Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Kinesiology, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking a full-time, 9-month Instructor whose academic/teaching background compliments the department’s existing physiology-related specialty areas of cardiorespiratory, cardiovascular, muscle and autonomic physiology. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. programs in exercise physiology.
Assistant Professor - Swine Production (Diagnostic Medicine / Pathobiology) Manhattan, Kansas

Stanton County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent Other
Stanton County is located in Southwest Kansas at the intersection of Highways 160 and 27.  The county seat is Johnson City, Kansas.  There are two outlying communities, Big Bow and Manter.  The current population is approximately 2200 people.  The average median income from 2008 to 2012 was $51,800.  The county is a diverse agricultural community that raises wheat, corn, milo, and has cow/calf, dairy and feedyard operations. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming will include but is not limited to: agronomic and livestock production, agricultural economics, management and public policy, horticultural production and management, natural resources conservation, and environmental stewardship.

Community Coordinator Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Housing and Dining Services anticipates one or more openings for Community Coordinator (CC). The CC will provide leadership and supervision for a multicultural population of 250 to 650 students within the residence halls or the Jardine Apartments. The coordinator’s primary function is to direct and oversee the operations of residential communities. This position may involve the staffing and supervision of 6-18 resident assistants or residential learning assistants and 1-2 graduate assistant coordinators. The CC is the primary leader within their community for student conduct proceedings and student success and retention initiatives. Duties include student development, training, advising student groups, facilities management, professional development, administrative and managerial responsibilities. The CC assesses, contributes to and oversees the implementation and enhancement of student learning outside the classroom through programmatic opportunities. Additionally, the CC engages in and facilitates conversations around equity and inclusion with student staff and peers. This position is supervised by an Area Coordinator.
