Admissions Representative (Missouri area) Manhattan, Kansas
Join the Office of Recruitment and Admissions at K-State as an Admissions Representative! This position is located in Manhattan, Kansas, and will focus on recruiting efforts throughout the western half of Missouri with majority of time spent in Kansas City, Missouri. The Admissions Representative represents the university to the general public with the goal of attracting new undergraduates (freshmen and transfer) to K-State by driving interest, applications and enrollment.
Environmental Compliance Specialist Manhattan, Kansas
Supports environmental and safety compliance efforts of EHS. This position conducts or assists the Environmental Compliance Manager with the development and compliance assurance of environmental protection programs mandated as part of RCRA, TSCA, HMTA, Controlled Substances Act, CAA, CWA, and other environmental protection acts and related regulations. Manages hazardous materials and waste, conducts facility compliance inspections and provides consultation and outreach to the campus. This position is part of a hazardous materials emergency response team that promptly addresses hazardous materials incidents on campus (during and after hours) and conducts related abatement activities.

It is a rural region with a combined population of approximately 27,000 residents in 32 communities. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programs for livestock production, including but not limited to: breed and species selection and management, nutrition, livestock facilities, animal identification, marketing, best management practices and sustainable production techniques.
Safety & Health Officer Manhattan, Kansas
The Safety and Health Officer is part of the Department of Environmental Health and Safety for Kansas State University.  They support safety, health, and compliance programs for university activities. This role will conduct safety and health surveys, investigate work, research, and academic operations to analyze, identify, and measure workplace hazards or stressors that can cause sickness, impaired health, or significant discomfort to staff and students through chemical, physical or biological exposures. Surveys include, but are not limited to, measuring airflow, noise levels, chemical and other hazardous contaminants in the work and learning environment. The investigations will result in the identification of risk and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures within clear, comprehensive reports for the protection of the health and well-being of employees, students, and visitors. The Safety and Health Officer develops, supports, and promotes programs and services necessary to maintain compliance to regulatory requirements and a safe, healthy environment.

This position will serve as the on-site administrator of the sponsored project to facilitate daily implementation of the research project by promoting the program, selecting research participants, designing and implementing database information, and collaborating with the researchers at Kansas State University, Northern Illinois University, and Barksdale Air Force Base. This position reports to the sponsored project’s principal investigator.

The College of Health and Human Sciences is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team in the Dean’s Office. This full-time, 12-month position will assist the HR Analyst with the day-to-day HR functions in the College of Health and Human Sciences. The Department of Applied Human Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking an HR and Enrollment Specialist to join their team at the Center for Child Development (CCD). This position will support the CCD through handling payroll and onboarding for all students and staff, along with managing the day-to-day HR functions. This position will also serve as the enrollment specialist, providing support to families throughout the enrollment process, maintaining the waitlist, and assisting with tuition billing. The HR and Enrollments Specialist reports to the CCD Director.

The Department of Applied Human Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking a Food Program Manager to join their team at the Center for Child Development (CCD). This position is responsible for running an efficient and cost-effective food program with policies and procedures that follow state licensing, national accreditation, and CACFP regulations. The Food Program Manager will design healthy menus that meet CACFP standards, maintain the food program budget, and ensure proper sanitation and food handling practices are followed. This position reports to the CCD Director.
Outreach Program Coordinator (Personal Financial Planning) Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Personal Financial Planning (PFP), within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking an Outreach Program Coordinator to join their team. This position will provide centralized support for department outreach and engagement with alumni and industry partners. They will support the day-to-day interactions with firms, facilitate firm visits, and coordinate our regular industry events. The Outreach Program Coordinator will also provide organization for the department’s initiative to develop continuing education and applied learning opportunities to professionals. This position reports to the Department Head.
