The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant. The individual in this position will be primarily responsible for the setup of diagnostic specimens in the clinical microbiology section of the KSVDL. The specific tasks involved include: entering case information and requested tests into the LIMS and daily case log sheets, assisting in maintaining a proper stock of microbiological media, assisting in diagnostic workups and participating in laboratory QC procedures.

This project will measure soil water, plant growth, and CO2, water vapor, and carbon fluxes at a very fine scale.
