The Office of Institutional Research is seeking applicants for a Lead Data Analyst. This position will provide a higher level of analytical support to University decision-making processes. Primarily involving quantitative methods such as surveys, this analysis includes topics such as student satisfaction and engagement, retention, recruitment, market research, enrollment projection, enrollment and revenue projection, and mathematical modeling of the University, its processes, and the environment. Incumbent of the position is expected to understand the complexity of data structure and commonly used methodologies in statistical analysis and predictive modeling practice and make independent decisions on using sound approaches. The position strengthens the user service capacity for data request as well as some external surveys

Assistant or Associate Professor, Dairy Cattle Nutrition Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Animal Sciences and Industry is the largest department (more than 1,200 undergraduates and approximately 100 graduate students) in Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture. We are seeking applicants for a 12-month, tenure-track position (60% Research, 40% Teaching). The position will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and located in Manhattan, KS. The successful individual will be expected to develop a nationally recognized, externally-funded research program in dairy nutrition and contribute to the core missions of the department involving undergraduate and graduate teaching and research activities. Participation in interdisciplinary efforts to enhance the Department’s research in focus areas including nutrition, breeding, genetics, reproductive physiology, and food science is strongly encouraged. Teaching and mentoring responsibilities will be consistent with the successful individual’s expertise, interests, and needs of the Department. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop a dynamic graduate training program.

We are seeking applicants for a 12-month, tenure-track position (70% Extension, 30% Research). The position will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and located in Manhattan, KS. The successful individual is expected to develop an innovative extension and dairy research program addressing issues facing the Kansas and U.S. dairy industry in addition to contributing to the core missions of the Department. Participation in interdisciplinary efforts to enhance the Department’s research in focus areas including nutrition, breeding, genetics, reproductive or lactation physiology, and food science is strongly encouraged. This Farm Manager/Poultry Unit Manager position is vital to the KSU Poultry Unit's success. This position collaborates with researchers in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry along with others across campus. This position assists with Extension events that happen across the State of Kansas. Along with poultry judging contests held at different high schools across Kansas. This position will conduct research with the help of graduate and undergraduate student which this position will train and prepare of the project and collection of data each semester. The incumbent will also assist with the ASI 106, ASI 310, ASI 635, ASI 640, ASI 645 classes. This position will handle the pullet sale each spring.

The Department of Housing and Dining Services anticipates one or more openings for Community Coordinator (CC). The CC will provide leadership and supervision for a multicultural population of 250 to 650 students within the residence halls or the Jardine Apartments. The coordinator’s primary function is to direct and oversee the operations of residential communities. This position may involve the staffing and supervision of 6-18 resident assistants or residential learning assistants and 1-2 graduate assistant coordinators. The CC is the primary leader within their community for student conduct proceedings and student success and retention initiatives. Duties include student development, training, advising student groups, facilities management, professional development, administrative and managerial responsibilities. The CC assesses, contributes to and oversees the implementation and enhancement of student learning outside the classroom through programmatic opportunities. Additionally, the CC engages in and facilitates conversations around equity and inclusion with student staff and peers. This position is supervised by an Area Coordinator.
