Job duties include the following: Assessing for referral to short term individual, couple, and group therapy; conducting initial assessments, intakes, and crisis sessions, providing referrals and bridging care to the community as needed; consulting with students, faculty, and staff regarding mental health issues; and other tasks as requested by our Director. Occasional after hours and weekend work is required. The position reports to the Director of the Counseling Services, which is a part of the Division of Student Life.

Cowley County Extension has a rich and proud history with an active "Friends of Extension" committee that serves to raise the profile of extension and generate non-tax monies to support extension programs. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive 4-H youth development program for school-aged youth in cooperation with local residents and extension colleagues. The primary focus of this position is youth development, adult volunteer development, youth education program development, expanding partnerships, and participation and membership growth. Programming will include but is not limited to: supporting community clubs, out-of-school programs, school enrichment, volunteer management, and outreach to create new program opportunities with existing and new community partners.

The Sorghum breeding program in the Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a Research Associate to work on field, greenhouse and laboratory research activities related to sorghum breeding for enhancing productivity, stress tolerance and utilization attributes. The activities may involve all routine field and laboratory activities including seed preparation and treatment, operating farm machinery (tractor, planter), planting, pollination, harvesting and maintenance of seed inventory. This individual will work closely with the program leader, graduate students, technicians and undergraduate workers in the program. Research Assistant (Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory) Manhattan, Kansas
The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant. The person in this position will perform histology duties related to service and research. Duties will include trimming (grossing) of fixed biopsy and necropsy tissues, embedding tissues in paraffin wax, cutting tissues on a microtome and preparing glass slides of the tissues in accordance with those QA/QC guidelines of an AAVLD accredited laboratory. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to horticulture. Programming will include but is not limited to: horticulture crop production, marketing and economics, conservation of natural resources, horticulture waste management, and landscape maintenance and improvement.
