The Department of Finance is seeking to fill a full-time, regular, University Support Staff position of Office Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations to allow the Department to function smoothly. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning and coordinating events sponsored by the Department and associated Centers, including, but not limited to, the Finance Advisory Board annual meetings. The position requires professionalism and will serve as a point of contact for the Department’s Advisory Board, Alumni, and Donors.
Research Manager (Diagnostic Medicine / Pathobiology) Other
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Research Manager. This position will oversee and lead research activities being conducted for Kansas State University at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. The Research Manager will be responsible for collecting and coordinating data for ongoing research progress, and for preparing reports for development purposes. They will develop research studies, study designs and be responsible for study implementation. The position will analyze research data and provide interpretations. Assist with the preparation of research records, reports and other documentation for publication. Coordinate work and interactions between multiple project teams and maintain regulatory compliance.

This position performs duties related to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation in a residence hall dining center. The position is responsible for completing cleaning tasks and training others in the execution of cleaning and ware washing.
Nutrition Educator (Sedgwick County) Other
The Nutrition Educator position serves to meet the Kansas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) mission of empowering low-income Kansans using evidence-based strategies to achieve healthy lives and reduce health disparities. Specific strategies include direct education in various settings, community based projects to address policy, system or environmental changes and public health approaches to help children, families and adults improve dietary quality and food resource management skills and increase physical activity. This position reports to Sedgwick County EFNEP and SNAP-Ed Agent.

The associate dean position is responsible for leading enrollment growth in online programs offered through K-State Global Campus. The incumbent serves as a visionary strategist and change agent, reaching markets to grow enrollment in new and innovative ways. The Poland Lab in the Department of Plant Pathology is seeking a laboratory manager to oversee research lab activities for multiple concurrent research projects centered on basic and applied research in wheat genomics and breeding, including providing support to technicians and researchers. The lab manager will create and implement plans, strategies, and guidelines regarding lab operations and experiments. The lab manager will work together with other research technicians to conduct laboratory, greenhouse, and field research. The position will coordinate the acquisition, storage, inventory, and management of supplies and equipment. Research Assistant Manhattan, Kansas
This position will function as part of the KSU Beef Stocker Unit by conducting research and basic maintenance operations with undergraduate and graduate students related to stocker cattle health and nutrition management. On a daily basis, the incumbent in this position must be capable of independently conducting and directing subordinates on their specific tasks and ensure that all cattle are fed and water is available, all cattle evaluated for potential illness, removed if necessary, appropriately treated as per protocol and returned to their home pen, or pasture. The incumbent in this position must ensure that all research data are correctly collected, entered into a spreadsheet and submitted for analysis. The incumbent in this position must ensure that the unit is in compliance with Institutional Care and Use Requirements and oversee the daily care of esophageally, ruminally and /or intestinally fistulated cattle located at the facility. The incumbent in this position must be able to communicate with cattle owners as needed and generate invoices in a timely manner.  The incumbent in this position must be able to order feed supplies and process hay in a timely manner. The incumbent in this position will recruit and interview undergraduate students for labor and mentor their development in skills.
