Lafene Health Center is looking for a highly dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Coder.
West Plains District Horticulture Extension Agent Other
West Plains Extension District consists of Finney and Scott Counties in Southwest Kansas. The district has a combined population of 41,900. Offices are located in Garden City and Scott City and house five Extension agents and two office professionals. The district is a diverse community with many progressive initiatives. This position will also have some responsibility with the 4-H programs in the district. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to horticulture. Programming will include but is not limited to: horticulture crop production, marketing and economics, conservation of natural resources, horticulture waste management, ornamental horticulture, and landscape maintenance and improvement.

The district is a diverse agricultural community that raises wheat, corn, milo, and has cow/calf, dairy and feedyard operations. This position will also help with the 4-H programs including, but not limited to livestock and agricultural education to both 4-H and community youth. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming will include but is not limited to: agronomic and livestock production, agricultural economics, management and public policy, horticultural production and management, natural resources conservation, and environmental stewardship.
Agricultural Technician II Colby, Kansas
The person in this position will be a member of the Farm Production team at the Northwest Research-Extension Center. Under the direction of the Farm Manager, they will perform all common agronomic tasks associated with crop production in northwest Kansas including pesticide application, tillage, planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
