About This Role:

The 4-H Enrollment/Data/Evaluation Administrator will oversee and serve as the primary contact for the 4-H Online database management system and the PEARS evaluation system. This employee will lead the 4-H programming enrollment process, develop evaluations and analyze data to strategically create stories to share.

  • Lead the evaluation process for all statewide learning opportunities and provide analysis reports. This will include interpretation of the data and strategies on how to better tell the 4-H story through the data collection process.
  • Oversee the total customer experience for the 4-H Online enrollment database management system utilized for 15,000 program participants, volunteers and other K-State Research and Extension (KSRE) professionals.
  • Serve as the primary contact engaging with the Program Evaluation and Reporting System (PEARS) used for evaluation and data analytics management for youth programs serving more than 80,000 youth annually.
  • Provide analysis of enrollment and engagement of 4-H youth development activities and work with department personnel on program evaluation analytics.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with academic training and/or professional experience relevant to position responsibilities.
  • Experience in developing evaluations for programs and analyzing data to share the story.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (creation of electronic and print publications, presentations, web and social media).
  • Experience analyzing data for projections to help direct the program resources.
  • Professional experience with electronic data management systems, reporting, and compiling a comprehensive impact report.
  • Experience in working with individuals, coworkers, and teams to accomplish individual and/or group goals, as evidenced by college, career, and/or community activities.
  • Ability to utilize electronic and online technologies.
  • Understanding of different ethnic and socioeconomic audiences and a commitment to developing tools and delivering inclusive programmatic supports.

Other Requirements:

  • Position will require a willingness to travel, work some nights and weekends at statewide events as needed (i.e. Kansas State Fair and larger statewide events).
