The College of Business Administration at Kansas State University is seeking to fill a full-time regular position in graduate academic advising. The Graduate Academic Advisor will provide seamless advisement to College of Business graduate students and will act as a back-up to other students in need of advising support.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of policies and procedures of the Graduate School and how to implement requirements within programs
  • Experience and knowledge in graduate student advising, marketing, recruitment, and academic program assessment
  • Knowledge of online higher education trends and best practices in graduate student services
  • Basic math and statistical skills
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MAcc, student personnel or academic advising)
  • Commitment to understanding one’s own experiences and perspectives as well as the experiences and perspectives of diverse others in an effort to cultivate strong relationships and collaboration.
