About This Role

Kansas State University is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Recruiter to help us attract the next generation of leaders and innovators.

What You’ll Do:

  • Guide applicants through the admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to engage prospective students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to showcase our top-tier graduate programs.
  • Use data and trends to optimize recruitment efforts.
  • Be the face of K-State at graduate fairs, conferences, and virtual events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A people-person with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in recruitment, admissions, or related fields.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM systems.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education environment including knowledge and understanding of distance education
  • Experience with learning management systems, electronic calendaring systems, and web-based customer relations management or recruitment programs
  • Well-developed computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Access, Excel and Word
  • Experience appropriately handling confidential information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with educational student services
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated success working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrated dependability and strong customer service experience
  • Ability to understand, interpret and implement policy and procedures, to think creatively, to problem solve effectively, and to comprise effective recruitment and yield strategies
  • Ability to work with a diverse clientele, to establish and maintain effective working relationships, and to handle the demands of multiple deadlines and interruptions
  • Ability to travel within and outside the state of Kansas
  • Ability to set-up a display booth including backdrop and collateral materials
