About This Role:
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an Animal Technician I to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized animals in the VHC by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. This position is primarily responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of small animal common and ancillary areas of the hospital. Working hours for this position will include evening hours Tuesday-Saturday with occasional on-call coverage on weekends and holidays. Individuals in this position must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
