About This Role

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Director of NIL Operations, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.
 
An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate student-athlete fulfillment/activation of all internally secured 3rd party NIL deals including those through KSA’s MMR partner, through donor companies engaging in student-athlete NIL marketing initiatives and those secured through business development activities of KSA athletics
  • Coordinate 3rd party NIL activities including scheduling, travel, marketing campaigns, and media appearances
  • Provide day-to-day support to athletics administration on NIL operations, including contract management, payment processing, and educational efforts for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor student-athlete fulfillment of deliverable requirements on 3rd Party NIL deals
  • Assist student-athletes with submission of 3rd party NIL deals through NIL Go and ensure reporting requirements are met
  • Assist in business development initiatives to secure additional 3rd party NIL opportunities for student-athletes
  • Collaborate with the Student-Athlete Development staff on financial literacy educational programming
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with university policies, applicable laws, CSC, NCAA and Big 12 rules, including House settlement requirements, while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Experience working in college athletics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business organization with a variety of internal and external constituents
  • Capability to work independently and prioritize assignments in a manner accurately reflecting the relative importance of job responsibilities without constant supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Sport Administration or related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience’ working in college athletics
  • Experience working in sponsorship fulfillment or NIL activities

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship

$48,000 - $55,000
