This person will support the wheat breeder in developing new varieties and conducting research to enhance yields, quality, drought tolerance, and disease resistance. This role involves field work, laboratory experiments, data analysis, and collaboration with other team members to achieve breeding objectives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience in research programs.
  • Five years of farming experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
  • Ability to acquire of a Pesticide Applicator license within one year of hire.
  • Ability to acquire of a Drone Pilot license within one year of hire.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$24.01-$31.25 per hour.
