Diagnostic Technician I

About This Role:

The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University is recruiting a Diagnostic Technician I. This position will be driving to and from field sites collecting ticks from public areas across Kansas, identifying and sorting ticks by species, testing for tick-borne pathogens by PCR, and organizing data.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$16.43 - $27.93 per hour
