About This Role

The Director of Enterprise Systems serves in a management level role, providing strategic and operational direction for the enterprise and administrative application systems. The director will work closely with institutional leadership, senior IT leadership, and representatives of administrative and academic departments to develop and execute the institution’s administrative technology tactical plans. The position provides analysis and recommendations to improve and expand applications, system integrations, and application performance.

This position is responsible for the management and implementation of the institution’s ERP (Finance, HR, and Student) systems, CRM, facilities, parking, and other administrative systems. This includes supervision, ongoing training, monitoring system effectiveness, and evaluation for staff supporting these systems. Communication across organizational units within IT, managers, and functional administrators is essential in support of administrative technology planning.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and ten years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and five to ten years of experience in higher education enterprise application development, implementation and support.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse scopes
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse community of students, staff, and faculty
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm, and ability to be innovative and creative
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail and results-oriented
