About This Role

This position exists to provide executive level leadership and guidance in the Compliance, Risk Management and Quality Improvement areas of Lafene Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being. Additionally, the Director of Compliance, Risk Management and Quality Improvement will address complaints from stakeholders, advise Lafene Health Center Executive Director of risk issues, concerns, conduct research regarding the situation, and maintain appropriate documentation regarding incidents and other matters for the reporting units mentioned in this purpose statement.

The position is responsible to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements; identifying opportunities, and oversight of continuous improvement processes and projects.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Health & Risk Manager (CPHRM) or Certified Professional Health & Quality (CPHQ) or Medical Lab Scientist or Registered Pharmacist (RPH) or a Registered Nurse, BSN or ASN
  • A minimum of three (3) years work experience in one of the above required education categories.
  • Supervisory experience, customer or patient facing experience, ability to generate technical writing and policy/procedure development, and leadership problem solving experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Currently licensed in Kansas relative to above required education.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
