About This Role

The department of Diagnostic Medicine and Pathobiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Fellow (Post Doc). The purpose of this position is to provide training and research support to the Center for Outcomes Research and Epidemiology (CORE) and collaborate on the ongoing and developing research initiatives of CORE including NBAF, ARS and USDA research collaborations.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD. in biostatistics, agricultural statistics, quantitative epidemiology, agricultural economics or related quantitative fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and applied expertise in animal health research and familiarity with health and/or agricultural production systems.
  • Analytical skills, for development and/or implementation of disease and/or economic models.
  • Skills and experience in study design, statistical analysis and interpretation of data/results in animal disease and or economics.
  • Good scientific writing to contribute to reports, journal articles and/or grant proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills with statistical software programs.
