This position is responsible for processing employee transactions and ensuring data integrity in HRIS. Provides guidance to departments ensuring compliance with federal, state, KBOR, and university policy. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the flow of data between PageUp and HRIS is working as expected, allowing for timely new hires and access to K-State systems by new employees. Updates summer training schedules, calendar, and guidance. Works with the RCO Manager to plan for training and ensure all summer processes are run in the correct order and employees are placed on leave, resulting in correct payroll. Runs specific summer bi-weekly reports to make sure policy and procedures are followed. This position also leads the RCO effort to give position management access to departments. They partner with key department personnel on position management to train and maintain compliance with policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires an associate degree and one year of relevant experience.
• This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or business related field.
• Two years of experience in planning, directing, organizing, managing or administering personnel or human resource functions.
• Strong computer skills with ability to use spreadsheets and word processing software, such as Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience in entering data into a Human Resource system, such as HRIS.
• Experience in preparation and administration of training to groups and/or organizations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and laws with regard to employment.
• Knowledge of the Kansas State University payroll system.
