About This Role:

This position is in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, (APDesign), Information Technology unit. We are looking for a team member who can work collaboratively to provide technical support to end users, manage IT equipment purchasing and inventory, and ensure seamless operation of audio-visual (AV) technology in our tech-rich classrooms. Additionally, responsible for the annual deployment of design applications to tech-rich labs and classrooms, maintaining computer and VR (Virtual Reality) lab, and supporting maker-space equipment like laser cutters, large format plotters, and 3D printers. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience providing technical support in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, specifically Jamf Pro, with experience managing Apple devices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with audio-visual technology and support, including troubleshooting projectors, interactive displays, and video conferencing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with faculty, staff, and students to understand and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced academic environment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:
