About This Role

The IT Administrator provides ongoing support and security of all IT systems. The incumbent oversees the establishment, maintenance and expansion of operating system software, programming and alteration of operating systems, performance testing, database administration and upkeep, computer protection, server configuration and maintenance. May provide third-tier technical support.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience managing networks concepts, security practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience administering database management systems and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity measures, and ITIL best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and hardware components.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
