About This Role

The Department of Diagnostic Medicine Pathobiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine is accepting applications for an Office Specialist III. This position provides specialized administrative support for the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine. This individual oversees the activities of the office and provides a variety of high-level administrative and technical support to faculty, staff and students. They will also advise on department/university policies, procedures and services. This position reports to appropriate supervisor or department head.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Personal computing and data entry courses, business procedure course, Knowledge of computers and software, public relation skill, general secretarial skills, positive and cooperative relationships with faculty, students and colleagues, good listening skills, and ability to follow through.
  • Demonstrate good judgement and independent decisions.
  • General knowledge of English grammar, spelling and arithmetic.
