About This Role

The Assistant provides professional administrative support to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Financial Services and the Division of Financial Services leadership team. This role requires a high degree of confidentiality, judgment, and tact to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The Executive Assistant also serves as a key liaison for both internal and external communications, and is responsible for managing multiple administrative tasks efficiently, often with competing priorities.

The Division of Financial Services Administration oversees the following reporting units:

In addition to oversight of the units above, Financial Services Administration manages all schedule of charges (fee approvals), real estate transactions (real property leases and purchases and sales of property) and all debt related transactions.

Worksite Option

This position is primarily required to work on-site.  Additional details about potential limited hybrid work in this role can be discussed during interviews.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four years of office support experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • University experience and knowledge of university business operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and web management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with leadership and staff.
