About This Role:

Residing on the operations side of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions, this position's primary function is to coordinate the reception and processing of ORA documents from varied sources as well as provide quality assurance of data and processes. This position must have a large depth and breadth of knowledge of the intricacies of the systems and processes within the operational units. Reviewing for efficiencies within the processes will be a critical component of this position. Creation and assignment of new or updated error checks will be fundamental to ensuring accuracy. This position must maintain effective working relationships with external K-State units, vendors, internal staff, and IT units.

This position is eligible for hybrid worksite. Work is performed partially remote and partially on employer premises or designated assignment location. The expectation is to be present, on campus, at least three times per week.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Skills in high-level problem-solving and strong analytical abilities.
  • Systems analysis experience.
  • Supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of record-keeping and reporting functions as well as systems of higher education.
  • Familiarity with Kansas educational institutions, credit assessment processes and degree programs and requirements.
  • Ability to extract and analyze detailed information from multiple sources and relate it to specific situations.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as some skills in basic computational mathematics.
  • Ability to analyze and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Training in business, office practices, workflow management, and software implementation.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$43,000 - $48,000 annually
