Cats' Cupboard is looking for a highly dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Administrator. This is a 9-month position (summers off).

About This Role

This position exists to provide customer service to all guests and management of all daily operations. Manages all of the duties at the physical location such as:

  • Facility management
  • Software management
  • Voucher programs
  • Development of student staff and volunteers
  • Facilitates operational purchases and returns as needed
  • Assists with data collection and development of reports

This is a 9-month position (summers off). Additional hours available at the end of the spring semester and the beginning of the fall semester.

About Us

Cats' Cupboard Initiative is a collaborative effort among students, faculty, staff, and community focused on promoting food security at K-State. We provide direct food access through an on-campus food pantry, in addition to education and engagement opportunities. Cats' Cupboard is accessible to all K-State students and employees.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:• Relevant experience involving food procurement and/or management

  • Relevant experience managing individuals, groups and volunteers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, to include: verbal and nonverbal communication, conflict/crisis management, teamwork, empathy, listening
  • Commitment to promoting a positive work culture environment
  • Teamwork oriented
  • Comfort and experience working with diverse populations
  • Exhibits outstanding ethical responsibility
  • Competent in Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform at a high level under pressure

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
