About This Role:

The Division of Biology seeks field research aides for the collection of data on research projects. The aid will collect an record field data electronically on locations and habitat use by wild turkeys and dove in remote areas.

 

 

Worksite Options:


This position is required to be performed on-site.  Work is performed on employer premises or designated assignment location.

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in capture an handling birds, vhf radio telemetry, veetation identification of prairie plants
  • Direct experience with capturing and handling turkeys and dove
  • Ability to use Excel and other basic computer programs for data entry, skilled in equipment and vehicle maintenance.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver license upon employment
