About This Role

The Anatomy and Physiology department within the College of Veterinary Medicine is looking for a full-time Research Assistant. This position will plan and conduct experiments, keep good laboratory records; perform equipment set up and maintenance; order reagents, supplies and laboratory equipment. Maintain and update chemical and laboratory inventories; perform experiments on swine viral pathogen diagnostic tests, cell culture, immunoassays, blood collection and sample processing from animals.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a master's degree and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year working experience in a BSL-2 laboratory
