About This Role:

Kansas State University’s Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join its Facilities team! This position directs and supervises the trades, grounds maintenance, and student workers for the campus, including scheduling workers for installation, maintenance, and repairs of water, sewer, electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical equipment/vehicles, and building maintenance. The Senior Maintenance Supervisor also assists the Director of Facilities in estimations/planning of project work and acts as the customer service center for building, grounds, office, and event needs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Five years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An in-depth, comprehensive and intensive practical knowledge of the campus maintenance methods, procedures, equipment, materials, and personnel skills available to accomplish projects that are generally of a recurring nature and to develop information necessary for control of a complex program such as: multi-shop long term scheduling, developing plans and specifications and multi-trade material list for phasing of complex long-term facility repair and construction projects.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$55,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications
