About This Role

This position provides ongoing support of all systems. Installs, configures, and supports Linux HPC clusters, including
advising and planning on any future clusters or expansions within existing clusters. Areas of responsibility include
operating systems, networking, storage subsystems, schedulers, end‐user software installation and testing, and any
supporting infrastructure required for cluster operation.

This position is hybrid.

This position is eligible for hybrid and/or remote worksite. Work may be performed on employer premises, designated assignment location and/or performed fully in a remote capacity. An employee who is working remotely must reside within the United States in order to comply with all federal and state laws, filings, or tax requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires an associate degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Two years of relevant experience and/or coursework or combination thereof may be substituted for degree (does not replace additional experience required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field.
  • 3+ years of system administration experience w/ significant experience in administering Linux-based computing clusters.
  • Programming background in appropriate language (C/C++,FORTRAN, Python).
  • Experience programming parallel/ distributed applications using MPI; Extensive experience using various system tools and scripting languages such as shell scripts or Perl for installation and maintenance of systems and applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both end users and colleagues).

$61,591-$98,555
