Kansas State University and the College of Agriculture seeks a collaborative Student Programs Coordinator. The Student Programs Coordinator provides essential administrative support within the academic student services function. Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of institutional programs, procedures, and policies, this role assists current and prospective students, parents, and faculty with a variety of inquiries and topics. Key responsibilities include managing student records, facilitating prospective student visits, supporting departmental student organizations, and coordinating internship opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with student information systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with enrollment management systems and student information systems (e.g.,
Banner, PeopleSoft).
• Experience handling student records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Problem-solving skills and a student-centered approach to service delivery.
• Knowledge of FERPA regulations and best practices in academic record management.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered environment.
