About This Role

The ideal candidate will be able to teach a beginning-level studio section of ENVD 201 Environmental Design Studio, the LAR 420 Socio-ecological Studio (including introductory GIS), and an elective addressing a topic of their choosing. In addition, teaching LAR 500 Site Planning & Design is desirable, although not required for this position.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in landscape architecture or a closely allied discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate beginning-level design studios and electives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with beginning design students, studio teaching experience, knowledge of GIS for spatial analysis, and ability to engage students in topics that address the relationships between social and ecological systems.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
