While there are many responsibilities of someone in this role, this position is primarily responsible for greeting and referring clients and patients, managing admissions, and facilitating appointments. Client Services Assistants also provide exceptional customer service through taking calls from clients, listening to customer needs, and providing helpful solutions to any concerns or issues. Excellent communication skills are utilized daily as this position acts as a liaison between clients, patients, and the hospital service providers.

This position will also serve as primary support for the hospital information system, Instinct, assisting students and staff as help and training are needed. Working hours for Health Information Specialists will include three evenings a week and rotating weekends. Excellent communication and organization skills are utilized daily as this position.
