Program/Project Associate - Dispensary Operations Associate in Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Dispensary Operations Associate to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. While there are many responsibilities of someone in this role, the primary responsibility of this position will be to maintain USP compliance with cleanroom operations. This role will also assist with the training of all Dispensary personnel. They are given the opportunity to continuously advance their skillset with continuing education and other learning experiences. Excellent communication and leadership skills are utilized daily. Working hours for this position will include hours between 8am and 6pm.

This position provides support for agronomic research at the center in Tribune, KS. Overall, the focus of responsibilities will be maintaining station grounds with regard to mowing grass, maintaining and fixing driplines on trees, pruning trees, and trimming around buildings by operating and maintaining riding lawn mowers, gas powered trimmers and saws, and utility vehicles. There will also be the opportunity to participate in overall station operations by assisting with data collection, plot care and maintenance, and sample processing. Grounds work can be done on a flexible schedule.

May perform complex data analyses to provide informed recommendations for executing organizational strategies. The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Nurses I, II, or III to join our dedicated Small Animal Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team to help provide exemplary patient care. This position holds many engaging responsibilities including helping to provide vital care for critical patients, operating medical equipment, and performing or assisting in technical procedures. Nurses on this team assist in day-to-day responsibilities like monitoring medical records, organizing technical work, maintaining equipment and supply statuses, as well as coordinating animal treatments. Veterinary Nurses have the opportunity to advance their skillsets through continuing education and various learning experiences. The VHC also has an established career ladder for veterinary nurses to provide opportunities for professional advancements. Veterinary Nurses in this position work 12-hour shifts three days per week. Communication and collaboration skills will be utilized daily.

The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking Client Services Assistants to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. While there are many responsibilities of someone in this role, this position is primarily responsible for greeting and referring clients and patients, managing admissions, and facilitating appointments. Client Services Assistants also provide exceptional customer service through taking calls from clients, listening to customer needs, and providing helpful solutions to any concerns or issues. Excellent communication skills are utilized daily as this position acts as a liaison between clients, patients, and the hospital service providers.
