Recruiting participants and scheduling their participation times. Collecting data by running participants in human IRB-approved experiments. Will determine participant eligibility for research studies through screenings. Experiments involve completing computerized tasks (e.g., Physics learning module, pre- and post-tests of learning Physics, interviewing participants about their attention during learning, short questionnaires, measuring short-term memory) while collecting data using eye tracking, webcam, and egocentric head-mounted video camera, and computer mouse. All experiments are non-invasive, minimal risk, and approved by the IRB. The condition is a normal office environment with no hazardous conditions. Pre-processing data using supplied software, and post-processing of data (hand coding of data). Storing participant data on hard drives and the cloud.

The Wildcat District proudly serves the 98,000+ residents of Crawford, Montgomery, Labette, and Wilson counties. We work with community partners in each county to determine needs and deliver research-based information related to agriculture, natural resources, youth development, families, health, wellness, community vitality, and more. This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to horticulture. Programming may include but is not limited to: horticultural crop production, marketing, and economics; horticultural waste management; landscape maintenance and improvement; and conservation of natural resources.

We will be hiring a part-time Budget/Fiscal Coordinator in the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, but the individual will be an Administrative Support Center employee that is allocated to the OMVA. This is a new model that is being used by the Division of Communications and Marketing (DCM) in the President’s Office with our new communications officer, which is allocated to the President’s Office, but is an employee of DCM. This role will be able to help the OMVA deal with invoice processing, budget reporting, etc., but will be able to provide enhanced services to support OMVA with travel logistics, office supply ordering, etc.
