In this role, they will work closely and collaboratively with various units within REG, providing support as needed to internal business processes and functions. Their primary focus will be supporting existing business processes related to REG, re-designing and streamlining them where appropriate, and updating/creating new business processes if necessary. This position will also enhance all requirements processes, particularly those involving new processes, reports, requirements, courses, and programs. They will review best practices across peer institutions and recommend new structured frameworks, addressing inefficiencies and ambiguities around current SIS processes and reporting needs.

The Sunflower Extension District consists of Cheyenne, Sherman, and Wallace counties in northwest Kansas. Three agents, three office professionals, and a multi-county agronomist serve the district’s combined population of just over 10,000 people.This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming topics may include but are not limited to: livestock production; agricultural economics, management, and public policy; horticultural production and management; and natural resources conservation and environmental stewardship.
