Extension agents are professional educators, community connectors and innovators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. Wabaunsee County is in the beautiful Flint Hills between Manhattan and Topeka in northeast Kansas and has a population of just over 7,000. Beef cattle ranching and farming make up the county’s agriculture sector. This agent will be responsible for diverse agriculture programming, including overseeing a newly started Master Gardener program, as well as sharing responsibility for community vitality and 4-H youth development. Agricultural programming may include but is not limited to: agronomy; livestock production; agricultural economics, management, and public policy; horticultural production and management; and natural resources conservation and environmental stewardship.

Central Kansas District Family Resource Management Extension Agent in Salina, Kansas
Extension agents are professional educators, community connectors and innovators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. The Central Kansas Extension District consists of Ottawa and Saline counties. A team of seven extension agents and six support staff serve a combined population of 60,000. This agent will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to family resource management. Programming may include but is not limited to: financial planning; budgeting and record keeping; consumer credit; senior health insurance counseling; and taxpayer education.

Registrar Data and Process Coordinator in Manhattan, Kansas
As a vital Office of the Registrar (REG) member, the Registrar Data and Process Coordinator will report directly to the University Registrar. In this role, they will work closely and collaboratively with various units within REG, providing support as needed to internal business processes and functions. Their primary focus will be supporting existing business processes related to REG, re-designing and streamlining them where appropriate, and updating/creating new business processes if necessary. This position will also enhance all requirements processes, particularly those involving new processes, reports, requirements, courses, and programs. They will review best practices across peer institutions and recommend new structured frameworks, addressing inefficiencies and ambiguities around current SIS processes and reporting needs.
