The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Large Animal Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team to help facilitate exemplary patient care and quality customer service. Primary purpose is to provide technical assistance services required for providing quality veterinary care to client, teaching and research patients presented to the equine, livestock services, and field service department(s). This position is also responsible for monitoring 4th year veterinary students and entering information into the electronic medical records system. Stocking and cleanliness of the large animal barn. Working hours for this position will include Thursday – Saturday 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

About Kansas State College Advising Corps (KSCAC) KSCAC is a college access program aiming to support high school students in finding their best-fit postsecondary pathway. As part of the College Advising Corps network, KSCAC aims to increase the number of first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education. We hire recent college graduates to serve as College Advisers full-time in high schools across the state of Kansas. Our College Advisers work closely with students to ensure that they are aware of all options, whether it be community college, four-year university, workforce, or military. Serve as a College Adviser College advisers and gain invaluable leadership, work, and life skills that are necessary and transferable to any profession. The Department of Geology at Kansas State University invites applications for a Instructor position for one academic year beginning in August 2024. We seek an enthusiastic and versatile geologists able to contribute to our growing research in Hydrogeology. It is expected that the successful candidate will teach two introductory geology course sections during the Fall 2024 term, and during the Spring 2025 term, one section of introductory geology and one section of Hydrogeology. In addition, the lecturer will contribute to new and exciting research avenues that complement existing research efforts and publish results in peer-reviewed journals. Engagement in graduate and undergraduate mentoring and graduate-level instruction may also be possible.
