The Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Senior Security Engineer is more than a technical expert; they are a pivotal resource within the university, acting as the primary liaison for departmental identity managers. This role is responsible for helping implement and continuously optimize identity and access management services in line with evolving technologies and security regulations. They are responsible for helping design, implement, and maintain IDAM technologies to ensure audit and privacy compliance, and drive automation wherever possible. This role will also assist with resolving any security issues related to IDAM operations. Leadership and coordination are essential elements of this role. You'll drive cross-functional teams, facilitating discussions and serving as the subject matter expert. The Senior Engineer will also focus on the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of IDAM systems. This ensures not only optimal performance but also adherence to stringent security protocols. Additionally, as an authority in the field, you'll be tasked with developing and disseminating training materials to clarify processes, as well as offering expert advice on the latest solutions and best practices. Your contributions will be key in advancing the university's digital infrastructure securely and efficiently.

Diagnostic Technician I-Necropsy in Manhattan, Kansas
This position within KSVDL exists to serve the needs of clientele/stakeholders (clients, faculty, residents, students, coworkers) in regards to necropsy and sample reception, and assistance with all activities on the necropsy floor. This position will oversee and manage all necropsy floor activities including scheduling for teaching and research, disinfection, adherence to biosafety procedures and protocols in accordance with the KSVDL quality system, management of student workers, maintenance of equipment, record keeping related to the above activities, and maintenance and oversite of the KSVDL bulk autoclave and tissue digester. This position will also serve as an assistant to pathologists in necropsy procedures and sample collection from other samples (i.e. rabies testing, BSE testing, CWD testing). Some flexibility may be required regarding work hours at selected/occasional times.

Though there are many responsibilities of someone in the role, the primary responsibilities are to assist in providing quality veterinary patient care and help with procedures for client, teaching, and research animals within the VHC. Nurses in this position play a vital role in providing support for busy surgery schedules, assisting with educational opportunities, and contributing to meaningful research. Nurses are given the opportunity to advance their skillset through continuing education and various learning experiences. Excellent communication and leadership skills are utilized daily in this position. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a rotating emergency on-call schedule.
