The successful candidate will be able to teach students in our distance Master of Engineering Management and Master of Science in Operations Research programs in addition to teaching undergraduate industrial engineering students. The preferred candidate will be able to teach a broad range of undergraduate industrial engineering courses and have relevant industrial and/or academic experience. Candidates with expertise in data science/analytics/decision-making/operations research fields are preferred.

This position will be the payroll functional lead for the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) payroll system for Kansas State University and affiliated agencies and is responsible for interfaces to the Financial Information System (FIS) and the K-State Student Information System (KSIS). The incumbent improves business processes by analyzing day-to-day and recurring operations and takes a functional lead in designing and communicating enhancements and fixes.The incumbent assists with HRIS special projects and upgrades (ie., bundle and tax updates) by conducting complex testing of modifications and advises stakeholders and technical staff where issues and/or procedural change is necessary. This position reports to the Director of Payroll.

ACADEMIC COUNSELOR--FOOTBALL: Primary objective includes support and encouragement of student-athlete commitment to their educational opportunity and degree completion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: development and implementation of comprehensive academic advising, monitoring and support services for student athletes in a specific sport(s) to ensure their degree requirements and educational needs/goals are met. Advise student-athletes on such matters as course and major selections, class attendance, academic priorities, grades, NCAA eligibility, and career opportunities. Develop and maintain academic records and reports, as it relates to matriculation and initial/transfer eligibility status, classroom attendance, review of academic and satisfactory progress, as well as APR projections of assigned teams on semester and annual basis. Work closely with Specialized Learning/Tutorial Program staff to ensure proper academic support for each student athlete based on individual needs and levels of academic skill. Promote and facilitate academic compliance with applicable University, Big 12 Conference and NCAA standards and legislation.

Coffey County is home to 8,360 people in eastern Kansas. The extension office is in the county seat of Burlington, which is centrally located to the other five communities that comprise the county. Current extension staff includes an agricultural and natural resources agent and a full-time office professional. This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming to build healthy, sustainable communities, families, and individuals. Programming will be conducted with volunteers and extension colleagues to: strengthen families and individuals; build community capacity; promote individual and community health and wellness; and lead volunteer development.
