The Division of Facilities at K-State is hiring for an Electrician position. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling new electrical distribution centers and maintain and repair the existing distribution centers which control the power for the campus, both high voltage (4,160V – 12,500V) and low voltage (110v, 220V, 240V, 440V, 480V). Be knowledgeable and proficient in the high voltage loop system on campus to enable the back feeding of high voltage to building substations in order to ensure minimum electrical outage time. While there are many responsibilities of this position, the primary responsibility is to work collaboratively with veterinary students, interns, residents, and faculty clinicians to provide medical and radiation oncology treatments for patients. Communication and leadership skills are utilized daily to facilitate treatment schedules, coordinate student orientations, and assist in communication with clients. Veterinary Nurses have the opportunity to advance their skillsets through continuing education, various learning experiences, and subspecialty certifications recognized by NAVTA. This role is responsible for helping implement and continuously optimize identity and access management services in line with evolving technologies and security regulations. They are responsible for helping design, implement, and maintain IDAM technologies to ensure audit and privacy compliance, and drive automation wherever possible.
