About Kansas State College Advising Corps (KSCAC) KSCAC is a college access program aiming to support high school students in finding their best-fit postsecondary pathway. As part of the College Advising Corps network, KSCAC aims to increase the number of first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education. We hire recent college graduates to serve as College Advisers full-time in high schools across the state of Kansas. Our College Advisers work closely with students to ensure that they are aware of all options, whether it be community college, four-year university, workforce, or military. Serve as a College Adviser College advisers and gain invaluable leadership, work, and life skills that are necessary and transferable to any profession. Being an adviser is a transformative experience, contributing to a national movement to ensure all students have access to economic mobility and success. College Advisers aim to help students find a “best-fit” post-secondary opportunity in order to increase the likelihood of post-secondary success in college or career. Additionally, advisers create and foster a college-going culture by engaging administration, teachers, and staff to help build an environment that encourages and supports college attendance and completion. The advisers are available to assist all students and families.

The Division of Facilities at K-State is hiring for an Electrician position. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling new electrical distribution centers and maintain and repair the existing distribution centers which control the power for the campus, both high voltage (4,160V – 12,500V) and low voltage (110v, 220V, 240V, 440V, 480V). Be knowledgeable and proficient in the high voltage loop system on campus to enable the back feeding of high voltage to building substations in order to ensure minimum electrical outage time. Work hours are 7:30am to 4pm

The Materials Research Laboratory for Sustainable Energy in The Tim Taylor Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University is seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher with ceramic electrochemical membrane reactor, natural gas conversion, natural gas sensor, and electrochemistry background. The postdoctoral researcher will work on two DOE-funded projects. The first project focuses on developing proton ceramic electrochemical membrane reactors for co-generation of power and high-value chemicals from natural gas. The second project focuses on developing proton ceramic electrochemical membrane reactors for converting natural gas to low-carbon hydrogen.
