While there are many responsibilities of someone in this role, the primary responsibility of our dispensary team is to work closely with students, interns, residents, and senior clinicians to dispense prescribed medications. Pharmacy Technicians in this role will also assist with maintaining inventory for the dispensary department. The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is seeking applicants for an Events Director who will be responsible for the development and execution of all events hosted at the College level for the CVM, including several high-profile and annual events. This position coordinates all aspects of the events, evaluates their effectiveness and reports to the Dean and Assistant Dean to ensure the events implemented align with the College’s strategic event plan. Additionally, the Director is responsible for the management of best practices for event space usage. The Director serves as a vital member of the College and a resource within the College to ensure that all events deliver a high quality experience and add value to the College. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, and managing event staff and events volunteers. The Director also approves all events requested within the CVM by faculty, staff and students.
