This graphic design position supports the visual identity of Kansas State University through design. This position, housed in the Division of Communications and Marketing, serves a wide variety of clients across the institution, including the Offices of the President and Provost, academic colleges and departments, student success units, student life units and more, with primary focus on new student recruitment design needs for the Office of Enrollment Management and the Office of Recruitment and Admissions. The successful candidate will be creative, results-oriented and collaborative with other design team members, marketing staff, video staff and the university’s web services team. The graphic designer will also meet with clients to understand their goals and ensure design solution work to achieve them. This position reports to the Creative Director within the Division of Communications and Marketing.

Fellow (Post Doc) in Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University invites applications for a full time, 12-month, Post-Doctoral Fellow position. This Post-Doctoral position for independent research including but not limited to viruses such as Influenza, African swine fever, Vesicular Stomatitis, Rift Valley Fever, Monkey Pox and other select agents under both BSL-2 and BSL-3 bio-containment conditions. Duties would include planning and conducting experiments; writing and editing manuscripts/articles; establishing procedures and techniques; and provide educational guidance to students. This position is part of a very busy, successful research team whose main goal is to develop rationally designed vaccines and diagnostics against high-consequence foreign animal, emerging and zoonotic disease threats. The position requires the individual to display critical thinking and independent judgement as it relates to ongoing and new molecular, viral research with direct guidance from the Research Science Manager and Primary Investigator. The research is conducted at the BSL2 and BSL3 level of containment and utilizes several select target animal models such as pigs, cows, chickens and mice. The position requires the acquisition and maintenance of a DOJ Select Agent clearance.

Assistant Vice President for Talent Strategy and Engagement in Manhattan, Kansas
This position serves as the assistant vice president for talent strategy and engagement at Kansas State University. In this role, the incumbent works alongside the CHRO to develop and carry out a strategic vision for HR at K-State, leading functional teams in the areas of talent, learning and development, compensation and organizational effectiveness and employee relations and engagement. This role oversees compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and university guidelines with regard to HR activities at the institution, managing and developing institutional policy in support of overall goals. The incumbent regularly collaborates with stakeholders and is one of two leaders who may represent HR in the absence of the CHRO.

Sunflower District Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent in Other
Extension agents are professional educators, community connectors and innovators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. The Sunflower Extension District consists of Cheyenne, Sherman, and Wallace counties in northwest Kansas. Three agents, three office professionals, and a multi-county agronomist serve the district’s combined population of just over 10,000 people.This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming topics may include but are not limited to: livestock production; agricultural economics, management, and public policy; horticultural production and management; and natural resources conservation and environmental stewardship.
