Accounting Specialist Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
This position serves as the front-line office manager. This position is critical to the effectiveness of the office through access to student payments and cashiering services, and through interpretation of student financial data. This position analyzes the impact of tuition and fee assessment, payment options and penalties, and ensures consistent and accurate financial data and responses to customer service questions. This position also compiles and analyzes customer engagements (phone calls, emails, in person visits, etc) in order to improve overall customer service. Communication of numerous policies and procedures are critical, as well as developing relationships with all staff members throughout the office and campus, to ensure consistent and top tier customer service.
Budget/Fiscal Coordinator Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
We will be hiring a part-time Budget/Fiscal Coordinator in the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, but the individual will be an Administrative Support Center employee that is allocated to the OMVA. This is a new model that is being used by the Division of Communications and Marketing (DCM) in the President’s Office with our new communications officer, which is allocated to the President’s Office, but is an employee of DCM. This role will be able to help the OMVA deal with invoice processing, budget reporting, etc., but will be able to provide enhanced services to support OMVA with travel logistics, office supply ordering, etc.

Registrar Data and Process Coordinator Manhattan, Kansas Hybrid eligible (partially remote, must reside in US)
As a vital Office of the Registrar (REG) member, the Registrar Data and Process Coordinator will report directly to the University Registrar. In this role, they will work closely and collaboratively with various units within REG, providing support as needed to internal business processes and functions. Their primary focus will be supporting existing business processes related to REG, re-designing and streamlining them where appropriate, and updating/creating new business processes if necessary. This position will also enhance all requirements processes, particularly those involving new processes, reports, requirements, courses, and programs. They will review best practices across peer institutions and recommend new structured frameworks, addressing inefficiencies and ambiguities around current SIS processes and reporting needs.

This position within KSVDL exists to serve the needs of clientele/stakeholders (clients, faculty, residents, students, coworkers) in regards to necropsy and sample reception, and assistance with all activities on the necropsy floor. This position will oversee and manage all necropsy floor activities including scheduling for teaching and research, disinfection, adherence to biosafety procedures and protocols in accordance with the KSVDL quality system, management of student workers, maintenance of equipment, record keeping related to the above activities, and maintenance and oversite of the KSVDL bulk autoclave and tissue digester. This position will also serve as an assistant to pathologists in necropsy procedures and sample collection from other samples (i.e. rabies testing, BSE testing, CWD testing). Some flexibility may be required regarding work hours at selected/occasional times.
Lab Administrator- Rabies Mailroom Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The primary duties of this position will be as a supervisor in the Mailroom and Sample accessioning area of the Rabies Laboratory. This essential position within KSVDL exists to serve the needs of both the clientele of and testing teams in the Rabies Laboratory in regard to overseeing package intake into the laboratory, accessioning, and sample referrals. This position will oversee all serology submissions and may also be involved in special projects dealing with client-oriented tasks pertaining to samples and process improvements. This position will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory in the mailroom and accessioning area.
