About This Role

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.

An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and coordinate systems associated with assigned article of NCAA manual either Eligibility, Financial Aid or Recruiting.
  • Conduct and assist with rules education meetings and materials for coaches, staff, student-athletes, parents, university staff, boosters and the general public
  • Research and provide NCAA/Big 12 rules interpretations for coaches, staff, donors, student-athletes and the general public
  • Serve as liaison to ARMS to troubleshoot issues related to compliance software, train new staff members

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with NCAA rules either in a compliance office, academic office or related athletics position
  • Experience using CA, LSDBi and other applicable NCAA programs and computer software
  • Knowledge working with NCAA Bylaws

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • One to two years of full-time experience working in NCAA Division I athletics compliance;
  • Knowledge of Big 12 Conference rules

Other Requirements:

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to make independent, informed and decisive decisions in a demanding work environment;
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required

This position holds expectations of compliance with all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, Kansas State University and K-State Athletics, Inc. rules and regulations.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$44,000 to $47,500
